3. ARTS DEPARTMENT

In this department we the Arts teachers take
our learners through the following subjects:
a) Creative arts
b) Music
c) Movement activities
Our main objectives as teachers in this
department is help the learners to appreciate
their own and other Artworks, music and
movement activities from the past and present
within their social contexts and cultures and to
express feelings, ideas, emotions and
experiences through Artworks, music and
movement activities for therapeutic purposes.
We would highly appreciate your watching our
learners enjoy this very important part of their
education. We have a dedicated team that
helps our learners through this part of
education and enough playground for their
practice.
CBC AND PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
In the CBC curriculum the role of the parent in the
education of their children cannot be gainsaid. We at
CORRADINI PRIMARY SCHOOL encourage our
parents and guardians to do the following in order for
us to achieve our goals and dispense our mandate
effectively:
v Provide basic necessities
v Protect the child from physical and emotional harm
v Instill and nurture morals and values
v Teach and guide children to make the right
choices and make them aware of consequences

v Instill a sense of responsibility by ensuring
children participate in age-appropriate chores
v Help in enhancing learning achievements in
your child as guided by the teacher
v Engage with the teacher to enrich your child’s
learning experiences
v Provide tender, loving care to boost your child’s
emotional safety and a sense of belonging
v Monitor your child’s growth and development
and also identify any signs of disability for early
intervention
